Hello fellow angling enthusiasts, my name is Striper Mike. This site is an anthology of my fishing passion as well as an ongoing saga. A local carpenter gave the name, Striper Mike, to me and so .... I have kept it! My FISHING STORIES may not be record setting, but they are all true and have left a vivid memory in my mind and my hope is that you can momentarily be there also. Much of the site focuses on surfcasting for the Great Striped Bass. There are also many TIPS and FUN FACTS of the striper season as it progresses.
